For this Press Release, I adopted a light hearted tone typical of the brand I was writing for. I made sure to include as much visual language as possible, to paint an image in the mind of readers of easter indulgence and of course, many of the brands typical SEO keywords.

When creating this copy, I kept in mind the voice of the brand, whilst also ensuring the copy was in line with the content Frankie Magazine likes to publish. The trick was to ensure the short paragraph copy contained all the key details of the business (i.e. price point, flavours) without becoming overly wordy and losing the readers attention.

In email blasts, it’s crucial to keep all copy short, yet punchy. You want to pique the readers interest enough that they follow the link you’re promoting, without giving them too much information and eliminating the need for them to engage further.

When constructing captions for social media, I always keep in mind that the text must be succinct and contain simple language. People want to glance at their screens and find out key information, without wading through mountains of text.
